The continent of Europe encompasses the world's largest and most complicated economy. This course will focus on present and future business issues facing the entire continent such as: should an European management style be developed instead of the individual national practices that frequently characterize companies, and how and under what circumstances should the European Union expand to Turkey, Ukraine and other countries.
The impact of the recently enacted Treaty of Lisbon will be analyzed. In order to provide essential background, this course will also briefly review key European events in modern European History.
