The European Union plays a silent but very important role in our lives. Sometimes, especially in crisis time, the working of the EU is more apparent, but how does the EU work, what does it do and how do outsiders view the EU? Those questions and many more will be answered in this course.
To give an overview what this course is about the following key words: European Union EU Law EU Agricultural policy EU and the worldA trip to Brussels and a stay there during one night is part of this course.

Target group
People who are seeing the influence in their daily work, like government employees will benefit from this course, because background of their work becomes clearer. Students especially interested in political sciences and economics will increase their knowledge and will have a great time with the other participants in the course.
Course aim
The first aim is to introduce and deepen the knowledge in a number of typical EU policy areas, e.g. agricultural policy and regional policy. Another aim is to practice writing EU tendering proposals.
