The WWU Munster will host an international entrepreneurship summer school to foster entrepreneurial thinking and networking among students from technology- and business-related fields, and help students to build a global business mindset. Part of this summer school are interactive plenary sessions on topics such as recognizing global business opportunities and sources of innovation, business model design, competitive strategy, corporate venturing & intrapreneurship, as well as talks with entrepreneurs, key note speeches from business practitioners and academics, networking social events and fireside chats with senior executives.

Target group
Graduate students (i.e. master and PhD students) from business-related fields (e.g. Business Administration, Business Informatics, Business Chemistry) and from the natural sciences (e.g. Chemistry, Biotechnology, Physics). International exchange students that fulfill the mentioned criteria are also encouraged to apply.

Course aim
Participants will hone their knowledge on entrepreneurship as well as intrapreneurship, develop skills necessary to assess and shape an opportunity for a successful business foundation, develop an initial practical toolset for successfully developing a business plan, develop skills for presenting their business ideas to a panel of investors, build an international network with entrepreneurial students from different disciplines (e.g., natural sciences and business studies), get in contact with successful entrepreneurs
