The course deals with international entrepreneurship from the perspective of the firm and entrepreneurial managers operating in an international environment. International entrepreneurship is the intersection of entrepreneurship, international business, and strategy.

The objective of the course is to provide students with a fundamental knowledge of the theory and application of global entrepreneurship. Furthermore, the course will address issues associated with taking an entrepreneurial venture into the global business environment utilizing globalization of markets, production and financing. Course offered by Department of Business studies, Aarhus School of Business, AU.

The students should have taken an introductory course in microeconomics, and macroeconomics



Course aim
Skills to analyze the country and entry choices for a global entrepreneur. Understanding the differences in entrepreneurial opportunity across countries. Ability of managers in entrepreneurial ventures to understand the implications of going global. The skills and knowledge necessary for managers in entrepreneurial enterprises to make decisions. Developing tools and critical skills to analyze opportunities for global enterprises.
