The course will provide an overview of botanical terminology with special emphasis on diverse families. It is divided into two modules:
1) Lab exercises at Aarhus University, which introduce the students to the descriptive terminology used in botanical identification keys (2 ECTS).
2) Field excursion to selected localities in northern Jutland, which will train the analytical skills of the students and introduce them to preparing voucher specimens (3 ECTS).

The overall aim of the course is to strengthen the analytical skills of the students and train them in using both written and electronic identification tools to higher plants.

EUR 0: Students on a bilateral exchange programme do not have to pay. Freemovers are obliged to pay participation fees while tuition fees only apply to freemovers from countries outside the EU/EEA/Switzerland.
