Bucharest Summer University is the official summer school of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies organized annually by the Bucharest University of Economic Studies Students Union (US ASE) and the Students' Senate, with the academic mentor of one of the eleven faculties from our university.

This international cultural and academic event focuses on economic problems and related fields of interest and has as a main objective to promote the common academic values. Our vision is to explore the future of information and governance in the context of a global economy, in order to prepare the future leaders in a multi-cultural environment.

Target group
The participants of the Bucharest Summer University are students from all levels, Bachelor, Master and PhD, from Europe and not only. Last year the event brought together 50 participants from 27 different countries: Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Congo, Costa Rica, United Arab Emirates, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Italy, United Kingdom, Morocco, Mexico, Republic of Moldova, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine a truly cultural concert of diversity.

Course aim
The objectives of this edition of the Bucharest Summer University are:

- To integrate knowledge from various fields of economics in order to identify and discuss trends;

- To develop critical thinking regarding the development of governance practices;



- To engage students from various cultural and educational backgrounds in experiential learning;

- To facilitate the development of communication and ethical skills.
