Course aim
This lecture gives an introduction to information security management systems (ISMS). ISO/IEC 27000 standard family will be introduced and according to the BSIIT- Base Protection a practical method of implementation of an ISMS will be shown. Additionally the basics of cloud computing and cloud security will be introduced. Further migration methods into the cloud will be elaborated. Students will develop an ISMS for a dummy company and create methods how to introduce the ISMS and how to maintain it in the company. The students will develop a concept and a transformation plan for migrating the main IT-Processes to a Cloud Service Provider (CSP).

1.0 ECTS credits

The Summer School ends with a final exam. On successful completion of the courses, a certificate, which confirms the ECTS-credits earned as well as the grade, is awarded. The certificate is signed by all lecturers and includes a detailed description of the content and number of the courses attended.
