Faculty of Transport and Traffic Sciences, University of Zagreb (Croatia) in cooperation with Faculty of Technical Sciences, University St. Kliment Ohridski in Bitola (Macedonia), Maritime Faculty Kotor, University of Montenegro (Montenegro), Faculty of Maritime Studies, University of Split (Croatia), Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport, University of Ljubljana (Slovenia), Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Communications, University of Eilina (Slovakia), Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality, University St. Kliment Ohridski in Bitola (Macedonia) and Intermodal Transport Cluster, Rijeka (Croatia) is organizing second International Summer School of Integrated Transport Innovative Technologies and Integrated Transport".

Theme and framework agenda is in accordance with the transport development trends, as well as the required competencies of the integrated transport experts. Today's transport sector environment particularly emphasises the importance of innovative technologies and solutions. This is particularly noticed in systems experiencing large numbers of interested stakeholders involved in realisation of transport services in integrated transport. The lectures are offered by a team of international academics, who join experiences and debate with invited market experts and professionals from the relevant sectors.

The organisation is a result of Summer School 2012 held in Kotor, Montenegro and other previous joint cooperation actions of organizing institutions. Summer school will be organised in the form of lectures, workshops, with a round tables on the first and last day.

Target group
Second International Summer School of Integrated Transport is intended for undergraduate and graduate students in the field of traffic and transportation technology. All other participants of lifelong learning programs willing to improve their knowledge of transport processes are welcome to attend.

Course aim
Summer School participants will become familiar with innovative technologies and get answers to questions regarding the following subjects:

- Integrated transport,

- Green transport,

- Tasks and scopes of innovative technologies,



- Integrated Transport and Information and Communication Services,

- How to improve the organization of transportation services,

- Role and importance of education in transport sector,

- Integrated transport planning using modern programming tools (Workshops).

Credits
1.0 ECTS credits

All students that will successfully fulfill course requirements will receive 1 ECTS.

Course fee
EUR 365: Summer school fee of 365 EUR cover cost of registration, transportation by bus from Zagreb (Croatia), lectures and workshops attendance, accommodation, breakfast & lunch & dinner, refreshments during breaks and excursions.

EUR 65: Price for students from other Universities in Macedonia is 65 EUR (including registration, lectures and workshops attendance & gala dinner).Special price for students from University St.Kliment Ohridski in Bitola is 40 EUR (including registration, lectures and workshops attendance & gala dinner).
