According to the Common European Framework of Reference for foreign languages, the course isdivided into three different levels:1. A1 level , Breakthrough ; A2 level, Waystage2. B1 level, Threshold3. B2 level, VantageThere will be no more than 25 students per class.
The lessons hold by the teachers, seminarsand guided tours will take place from Monday to Friday (about 25 hours a week). All the proposed activities will allow the participants:- To improve and reinforce their written and oral linguistic capacities- To reach a good level in communication skills- To address issues related to history, geography, and Italian culture.

Target group
The course is addressed to students enrolled in the foreign Universities, with which, for manyyears, the ESU-ARDSU of Verona has already had a cultural exchange; to the participants in the ITALIAN LANGUAGE AND CULTURE SUMMER SCHOOL FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS, organized by the International Relations University Office of Verona, and also to adult externalusers.
Course aim
The ESU of Verona (the Regional Company for the Right to University Study) organizes anintensive course of Italian language and culture for foreign students, in collaboration with theUniversity Linguistic Centre (CLA) and the International Relations University Office. The courselasts 3 weeks (80 hours), from August 17 to September 9 and, in addition to language andgrammar lessons, it includes seminars and workshops, as well as guided tours, trips, andexcursions to places of tourist and cultural interest.

0.0 ECTS creditsAt the end of the course, all the students who regularly attended the course (no more than 3-days absence) will be entitled to sit for the final exam and will be provided with a certificate of proficiency.A certificate of attendance will be issued to the students who will fail or will not be entitled to sit for the exam (provided that they attended at least 2/3 of the course).

EUR 1200: OPTION Italian course + refectory + accommodation: 1.200,00In addition to the OPTION Italian course + refectory , participants have an accommodationin the ESU Residences (Via Seminario n. 12), a few minutes walk far from the Universitycampus. The accommodation consists of a doble bedroom furnished with night table, wardrobe, desk and chair in an apartment with kitchen and two shared bathrooms. The ESU provides sheets and towels once a week.
