The Intensive Summer Prep Course is a two-week programme that is designed to prepare you for your bachelor programme at Hanze University. The goal of this course is to prepare you for your English-language bachelor programme at Hanze University of Applied Sciences. The core modules of this course are Dutch culture, communication skills, and study skills, all of which are offered in English by our experienced staff. By taking this course, you will be better prepared for your Bachelor programme.

Target group
Students who do not know much about Dutch culture, the educational system and/or have little practice of the English language. To be eligible for this course, you should be a first-year student starting on September 1, 2014, and you should have been accepted into an English-language Bachelor-degree programme at Hanze University of Applied Sciences.

Course aim
The course aims to establish a solid foundation of knowledge in Dutch culture, communication skills, and study skills.
