The course is an introduction to the study of contemporary political issues that are international in scope: war, globalization, terrorism, human rights, immigration, development, and the environment. Topics include relations between states, international organizations such as the United Nations, the International Monetary Fund, and the World Bank, and nongovernmental bodies, including multinational corporations, nonprofit organizations, and armed groups.

Students majoring in any field of social sciences and humanities, and students with a general interest in politics and international affairs.
Course aim
Introduce students with contemporary international political issues, make them familiar with major theories and problems of political science and modern politics, as well as their effect to global politica, economical and social environment.
