The Summer Course will start with a 2 day International Colloquium "Philosophical Concepts and Religious Metaphors: New Perspectives on Phenomenology and Theology", to be held in Sibiu (27-28 August 2007).
The Summer Course and will continue in Sambata (29 August - 5 September 2007).
Languages: The Summer Course will be held in English and French.
Admission: The Summer Course is open to 22 young students (enrolled in MA or PhD programs), showing concrete interest in the topic "phenomenology and
theology".
The admission is made on the basis of an application including:
(1) The Curriculum Vitae of the candidate
(2) The statement of purpose reflecting the student''s interest in the
topic
(3) The project of a conference to be held during the Summer Course
Structure: We will have two distinct panels:
(A) Phenomenological investigations of the Religious Life
(B) Theological challenge to Phenomenology.
Teacher courses will alternate with students conference
FEES: Full fee: 500 Euro / person, including 3 stars hotel in Sibiu (2 nights), midday meal and banquet in Sibiu; hotel in Sambata (8 nights), 3 meals/day, transport to Sambata and courses.
Discounted fee: 280 EURO/ person, including hotel in Sambata (8 nights),
3 meals/day, transport to Sambata and courses.
The transport costs from the original location to Sibiu is to be covered by the participants.
