The two-week full-time tuition programme is based on our accredited Master's degree programme on Project Management. The tuition programme combines a great general introduction to project management with extensive application-based practical components.

The group of summer school students will work out a project plan for a non-profit regional development project. Business experts from Germany and abroad will give a vivid impression of the practical work of project management. Guest lecturers will talk about intercultural communication or role allocation in projects. The leisure and culture programme is full of activities, i.e. sightseeing trips to Berlin or Dresden, company visits as well as leisure activities will take place.

Target group
Undergraduate and post-graduate students from all disciplines with an interest in project management.

Course aim
The participants will learn how to plan a Project by using specific Project planning Tools. They will also learn about role allocation and cultural communication in Projects. In a Team Project students will apply what they have learned during the lectures. They will develop a Project plan for their sub-Project and present their achievements. Furthermore guest lecturers and Business experts will give interesting inputs from their practical work.

3.0 ECTS credits



Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate including ECTS credit points.

Course fee
EUR 800: Programme fees include accommodation, lunch and leisure and culture programme.Not included are breakfast and dinner.Participants are responsible for:

- Obtaining a visa (if required)

- Carrying adequate health insurance

- Travel to and from Merseburg (Saxony-Anhalt)
