Participants in this course will be initiated in the wonderful and fascinating world of epidemiological research featuring measures of disease frequency and association, health measurement (clinimetrics), study designs (cohort, case-control, cross-sectional, intervention, RCT), bias, confounding, effect modification, causal reasoning, evaluation of diagnostic and screening tests, systematic literature review / meta-analysis.
