Stata is a powerful statistical package intended for researchers who wish to employ the most sophisticated statistical methods in their research. It is fast, reliable, and regularly updated. Its development is closely related to the demands of the academic world. This course offers a short introduction to Stata, version 11.1.
During the course, students will learn not only the most important commands but also the way of how to organize a complex research project with Stata.The topics cover basic skills, data description, creation and modification of variables, weighting, table statistics, regression analysis, analysing survey, panel and survival data, exporting Stata graphs to other formats.
