This School is addressed to students and professionals interested in naval design and production, working or planning to work in the field.
The aim is to form professionals skilled in design, project and construction of sail and motor boats. The objective of the School is to provide students with knowledge and expertise of the marine industry in order to allow them to work in a company of this field. In particular, all the aspects of design and manufacture of a boat will be described: hull, sails, structure, architecture, interiors, engines, in terms of materials and technologies.
Particular attention will be paid to the design and styling that make `Made in Italy` boats sold and appreciated throughout the world, making students aware of the added value that Italian nautical companies manage to aggregate to their products. To immediately apply the contents of the course some project works will be developed in groups during the course. Visits to shipyards and naval industries will allow students to enter into a real naval production and to directly watch the application of the methodologies and the technologies learned during the lessons.
