Have you ever wanted to study or work in Italy? Then we have just the thing for you! We offer challenging, lively courses in Italian with native-speakers. You will improve your Italian skills in small groups. Regardless of whether you would like to sign up for 50 hours in two weeks or 100 hours in four weeks, we have the right course for you!Special featureYou won%60t learn Italian just in the classroom! For example, you can practice your Italian in a playful atmosphere and learn about cusine at the Cooks%B4 Workshop. You can improve your listening comprehension and gain new insights into Italian culture with the Italian films shown in class and the cinema. And you can learn even more about the Italian culture at the weekly international gaming night. Or pratice your conversion skills during a relaxing walk or picnic in the park.And that%60s not even the half of it! Learn Italian and explore the cultural history of Germany that Weimar has to offer. In collaboration with the Klassik Stiftung Weimar, we are introducing a new supplementary feature: the museum project. This will give you the opportunity to practice your language skills on site in one of the Klassik Stiftung Weimar's museums, for example the art collection of the castle, the Park Cave or the Roman House. Join us on this journey of discovery, and improve your Italian and your cultural knowledge at the same time!

Target group
Our foreign language courses are designed for (prospective) students and graduates from Germany with the minimum age of 18 who seek an authentic experience and real immersion into a foreign language. Most participants who join the courses are 20 to 30 years of age.The levels are oriented to the European Language Levels (self assessment grid).

Course aim
The goal of these language courses is to help you improve your listening, reading, writing and speaking skills, and learn, practice and expand your vocabulary and knowledge of grammar and phonetics. The courses strongly emphasise active communication in the foreign language. The instructors will also give presentations about various foreign countries, their people and cultures. And of course we want to hear about your personal goals and interests for the course.

Credits
6.0 ECTS creditsAfter successful completion of the language course you will receive a certificate of participation. It will show the course title, the date and duration of the course, the number of contact hours as well as the main contents and topics.Participants earn:- 3 credit points (ECTS) after completion of the two-week course (50 h) or- 6 credit points (ECTS) after completion of the four-week course (100 h).It is necessary to attend at least 80% of the course lessons to receive credit points.If you do an extra work for example a presentation, a paper, etc. you can get a grade. Please talk to your teacher at the beginning of the course.
