Legal managers' behaviour and personality types of legal workers have a huge impact on the work climate within legal services firms and are critical components in employee engagement and organizational success. This course will especially enable law students and legal workers to gain the latest insights in different styles of leadership and (self-)management within legal services firms. The course will address specific best practices in the legal domain from an international and transcultural perspective.

Target group
The program is especially designed for law students and legal professionals interested in new leadership and (self-)management and how engagement and different personality types affect business behaviour.

Course aim
The course aims to develop students' abilities to organize, manage and practice a range of approaches to improve their performance as legal workers and as self-organized learners, in preparation for work or further career development. The unit emphasis is on the needs of the individual but within the context of how the development of self-management corresponds with effective leadership in meeting objectives.To achieve this course a learner must:

1. Undertake responsibility for own personal and career development;

2. Develop a range of interpersonal and transferable skills.
