This summer school offers an introduction to new developments in Dutch church music and liturgy. It focuses in particular on the new hymnal 'Liedboek. Zingen en bidden in huis en kerk' that was published in 2013. Specialists that have worked on this hymnal, together with experts on Dutch church musical and liturgical studies will provide an in-depth introduction to the concept of the hymnal, its contents, and its musical-liturgical use.
