This joint summer course promotes cultural exchange and cooperation between the higher education institutions of Estonia and Finland, and reflects the theme of the Baltic Sea Region. The theme will be explored from several perspectives with lectures on the culture, geography, history and art of the region, and to represent the region as a whole not only from the point of view of Estonia and Finland.
Furthermore, the course will present a broad and attractive social and cultural program, introducing the cultural traditions of Turku and Tallinn as case studies. Half way through, the course will cross the Baltic Sea from Tallinn to Turku as part of a direct experience of the Baltic Sea Region.
