This course seeks to introduce the marketing function in spa business, by exploring the consumer behavior and future trends in spa industry and the implications they have on marketing strategy. Issues involve defining and relating segmentation, targeting, positioning and spa service development process to spa services marketing communication planning.
Consideration is also given to recognizing the role of traditional forms of promotion in communication strategy process and exploring newer types of marketing communication like Web 2.0 technologies and eCRM.
