Masterclass: Public Speaking

A masterclass aimed at improving your speaking skills for presentations, lectures, meetings and job interviews. We will work on delivering clear, convincing and compelling speeches, using both theories from Classical Rhetoric and modern activities. The practical exercises and speaking assignments are designed to increase your confidence as a public speaker. We will also work on breathing, pitch, pace, clarity of articulation and body language. The course is taught by the lecturer in English and Rhetoric and former BBC radio newsreader, Dr Anya Luscombe at University College Roosevelt in Middelburg.
