This program provides students with broad understanding of political, economic and societal developments in the contemporary Middle East. It is based on an interdisciplinary approach and combines lectures, discussions, and meetings with politicians and practitioners. In addition to the seminars in Munich, the program also includes a research trip to Vienna.

Advanced students that have an interest in foreign policy, economic and societal developments. In-depth knowledge of Middle Eastern affairs is not required.
