Course aim
After completing the course, the student will be able to formulate experimental hypotheses in the field of quantification of nutrient absorption and metabolism. Design appropriate studies that answers questions related to inter-organ nutrient fluxes. Maintenance of multi-catheterized animal models. Skills in practical sampling and sample handling working with the multi-catheterized pig Conduct relevant chemical analyses in the laboratory Collect data, perform relevant calculations and to do a biological interpretation of results and present data in a scientific paper.
