The Summer School Programme offers five one-day courses designed to introduce participants to the advances that are being made in the rapidly developing field of nanotechnology. In 2012 the courses focus on bionanotechnology.

No prior knowledge is assumed although an understanding of physical science will be beneficial. Courses are offered individually or may be taken as a one-week summer school.This year's full Summer School Programme will be announced shortly. Please see our website for full details.

Target group
These courses are aimed at professionals working in a wide range of organisations and sectors: commercial, government and academia. Delegates will gain an understanding of recent advances in nanotechnology, together with its impacts and the challenges facing industry and society.

Course aim
To introduce participants to the advances that are being made in the rapidly developing field of nanotechnology. The courses focus on nanotechnology for energy, biomedical nanotechnology and nanosafety.
