Whether communicating at business get-togethers, after-show-parties or at official meetings or negotiations - the skilful entry into a first informal small talk about seemingly trivial things will help you to get in touch and to create a positive conversational atmosphere.

These are good conditions for achieving greater goals on your agenda.Contents:In the interactive workshop participants train their personal networking skills alongside with their competence of communicating in English.

• small talk - when and where?

• the rules of small talk; topics and taboos

• the entry: what shall I say to start a conversation?

• building a positive talking relation

• active listening and techniques of asking

• exit strategies to conversations



• simulating typical conversational situations

Methods:short impulse lectures, training in situation adequate expressions in English, practices and role plays, reflecting on your own communicational behaviours.
