The course will have two parts: Spatial Statistics and Spatial Econometrics. The aim of this course is to build up a strong theory foundation and to provide the computer application on spatial statistics and econometrics. The course starts from an introductory level and covers the frontier of research. It would be better if the participants in this course have strong Statistics & Econometrics background.

The course introduces participants to thebasic and advance concepts of spatial statistics and econometris.
Credits
15.0 ECTS credits
Students who would like to get 15 ECTS credit should take and pass the exam at the end of the course. Istanbul University will give them a transcript and necessary credit documentations beside of their participation certificates.
