How can you make a living from your creativity? And how do you go about setting up a creative business and making your business work? How can you develop your creative business with innovative ideas?Based on tried and tested methods from the "Creative Enterprise Toolkit" by the British Innovation Agency NESTA, this compact entrepreneurship training will help you turn your creative ideas into a successful business.

Sessions cover key business issues such as business drivers, Intellectual Property, blueprint & relationship modelling, contracts, marketing and key financial concepts, which are then put into practice in group activities and individual exercises. A high level of group interactivity creates opportunities to share perspectives and experiences, as you develop your business propositions.

Contents:
  • Aligning your business with your personal values and objectives
  • Giving shape to your ideas in terms of business potential
  • Developing your business blueprint
  • Identifying your customer base and planning marketing activities
  • Relationship modelling for your business activites
  • Financial modelling to ensure the finances make business sense
  • Speaking to customers and staying in business
Methods: Workshop sessions including lectures, group discussions, international case studies, exercises and individual work as well as experiential group activities and informal peer support
