This summer school, like no others, will provide the great opportunity for students and researchers to learn and get familiar with the recent trends and achievements in the field of flexible solar cells. Lectures will start with the fundamental explanation of physics of solar cells. Consequently, the organic solar cells approach will be presented together with the biggest challenges and opportunities for development.

The following lecture will be focused on the flexible silicon solar cells approach. Finally, the inorganic micro and nanostructures and their influence on flexible solar cells will be presented. This summer school will allow students to meet leaders and experts of the flexible photovoltaics and electronics field and to learn from the best. In addition, students will have the unique opportunity to visit the highest class laboratories and manufacturing lines at both University and VTT Research Center.

PhD students and researches of the flexible electronics field, especially engineers, physicists, chemists and material scientists.

Course aim
Participants will get familiar with the recent achievements in the field of flexible electronics. Additionally, participants and lecturers will be able to perform creative discussion about related topics.
