Now in its seventh year, the ISCTE Business School’s Summer School Lisbon has expanded its high level academic courses in the field of business and management. We now offer three intensive and specialised programmes taught fully in English:
1) Leadership and Strategic Knowledge
2) International Financial Management
3) Marketing, Communications & Branding
In addition to these challenging courses tailored to specific academic interests each student will also take courses in the Portuguese language as well as Portuguese History and Culture, so that they can better integrate and understand a new country.

Target group
Summer School Lisbon hopes to attract students who wish to combine a challenging academic course with an international vision. Our programme is designed to give business and management students the opportunity to mix and compare experiences with similar students from around the world.
Course aim
Our English language programme and international faculty aim to instil a global outlook that emphasises the international vision of modern business. Our course is designed to provide students with strong academic skills and knowledge as well as the ability to apply these to practical situations.
In addition to the academic programme our course also offers students the chance to get to know people from all over the world, sharing experiences and providing essential personal development and communication skills.
The Summer School Lisbon also offers students the opportunity to get to know Lisbon and the surrounding country through organised trips and tours.

One measure of the academic value of our programme is the ECTS credits we award for successful completion. These may be recognised by your home university and used towards your ongoing degree.
