This summer school will explain the full spectrum of doing business as an entrepreneur. Itwill help to create or improve your business plan by means of interactive lectures,workshops, in-depth discussions and feedback sessions. Experts with excellent trackrecords from practice and academics, such as Sarasvathy from the University of Virginia,will cover topics such as marketing, sales, strategy, attracting investors, creating prototypesand global entrepreneurship. How to support entrepreneurship? 27 June - 1 July
The University of Twente is known as a truly entrepreneurial university with more than 800spin-offs in 25 years. Experience and research shows that businesses in different phases ofdevelopment need different types of support. This summer school covers how universitiesor incubators could stimulate and support businesses in the best way. Workshops, in-depthdiscussions and excursions to a range of incubators and local businesses will show thatentrepreneurship is supported from multiple angles and success is also dependent oncontingencies with external parties. We expect participants from various countries, includingthe Netherlands, Russia, Indonesia and the USA. This seminar provides a lot of room fornetworking and exchange of best practices, challenges, opportunities and developments tohelp us all to improve our support systems.
