Course aim
The course offers students language classes and interactive lectures where they broaden their vocabulary in connection with the given topics. Having acquired some basic vocabulary, language learning is combined with practical skills, such as dancing, singing, etc. The suggested topics include the basic structure and peculiarities of Hungarian, folk music and dance, poetry, history via paintings and cuisine. The course will enable students to communicate successfully in a number of essential everyday situations. By the end of the week, they will be able to introduce themselves and talk about their hobbies and interests, do their shopping and order drinks and meals, and amaze locals with their dance skills. The informal settings should decrease the level of stress inherent in learning a foreign language.
