Course aim
After completing the course, students will obtain:
- an improved understanding of the effects of temperature on soil microbiology
- an awareness of different techniques and models to quantify the temperature response of microorganisms and microbial processes
- an improved understanding of the physiological background for microbial temperature responses and adaptations
-an appreciation of the potential effects of climate change scenarios on microbial ecology
