The Department of International Relations and European Studies of the Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic together with our partners are proud to present "The Energy Policy of the EU and its Position in Global Energy Environment," a summer school on the topic of energy security. The summer school aims at thorough examination of both recent and long-term developments, plans and policies of the EU influenced by the development of the global energy environment. The carefully selected lecturers will help the students to unveil the logic and motivation behind, understand the reasons, tools and effects, and to perceive the effect on the industrial and social sectors.

Target group
The summer school is open to undergraduate and graduate students of International Relations, Political Science, and European studies, as well as students from technical and economic fields. The summer school is also open to employees of energy sector related companies.

The summer school aims at thorough examination of both recent and long-term developments, plans and policies of the EU influenced by the development of the global energy environment.

Course fee
CZK 8999[Convert to USD]The fee covers educational program and materials, lecturers and management of the summer school, special events (such as field trip to the Temelin Nuclear Power Station including transportation, visit to the chateau Telc, guided tour through the city of Telc, social events etc.), full board and accommodation. Participants will have to cover travel arrangements to and from Telc, medical insurance, any visa fees, or any other expenses on their own.
