This course presents an overview of how to effectively write and present scientific information. We will discuss the structure and elements of a scientific paper as well as coherence, word choice, plain language, nominalisation, concise writing and correct grammar and punctuation. Participants will also practise writing an abstract, creating a poster and giving a presentation. The course will be divided into PowerPoint lectures and practical application through small group exercises that will consolidate the theory presented.
