A computer project is also part of the coursework for the Summer School. In addition there is a lecture series by Utrecht researchers on current topics in various fields of theoretical physics ranging from condensed matter to high-energy physics and quantum gravity.

Target group
Advanced bachelors with a strong background in physics and mathematics as well as proficiency in English. The Summer School course provides an excellent preparation for entering a master in Theoretical Physics. Applicants should go through a selection procedure. (Maximum number of participants: 35)
Course aim
Refreshing and deepening the knowledge in core subjects of theoretical physics such as statistical physics, quantum mechanics and classical electrodynamics.
