The three focal points of the course are: upper-level language courses (C1), methodological-didactical exercises, as well as presentation of new teaching and course materials.
The morning course can be complemented by attending seminars and lectures in the afternoons. Day trips to the Black Forest and the Alsace Region of France are offered in addition to a varied program in and around Freiburg, organized by our dedicated student helpers.

Target group
This course is intended for instructors who are teaching German abroad, and for those who would like to become German teachers. A language proficiency of C1 is required for participation in this course.

Credits
4.0 ECTS creditsUp to 7 ECTS credit points can be issued by daily practise at the modern Language Lab and by attending seminars and lectures in the afternoon.
Course fee
EUR 610: The course fee includes learning materials, access to the university PC pools and internet, a public transport pass for Freiburg and the surrounding region as well as leisure activities.
EUR 270: Single rooms in Freiburg at university-owned student dormitories may be arranged upon request.
