Ambitious entrepreneurs leading young, technology-based companies can accelerate company growth and boost the likelihood of venture success by partnering with skilled venture capitalists. This course, developed together with the venture capital community, uses a combination of lectures and hands-on workshops to cover the essentials of venture capital finance.

Besides discussing findings from academic research and current trends in venture financing in Europe and the US, this course will help you in developing the practical skills needed to develop a fruitful collaboration with venture capital firms.

Target group
The course is designed for students equipped with strong analytical skills and with passion for technology and entrepreneurship. The course should appeal in particular to students and young technology entrepreneurs who want to work closely with venture capitalists in the future.

Course aim
To learn how venture capitalists think, what decision tools they use, how the collaboration between the entrepreneur, the young company, and the venture capital firm is financially structured. And how it develops over time.
