This summer school consists of three one-week modules which combine theory and practice and focus on wind, solar and biogas energy. Through lectures, presentations, and exercises participants forstern their knowlege about renewable energy. Each module includes a highly valuable practical part where participants visit German manufacturers and companies in the wind, solar and biomas field.

These activities offer participants the opportunity to discuss their topics of interest with experts, producers and potential business partners.A certificate of participation will be handed out to the participants upon completion of the programme. Participants must have attended at least 90% of the summer course.

Target group
Professional engineers, technicians, and academic sectors who wish to get a comprehensive introduction to renewable energy technologies, students of engineering or related areas as well as investors and educators in the field of renewable energies.



Course aim
Our mission is to train students and professionals in the field of renewable energies and eco-friendly technologies, thus helping them to become experts in the field. Our courses, that attract students and professionals from around the world, are organised in cooperation with leading German universities and research institutes. As part of our programs, we organise visits to German companies and projects in the field of renewable energies to enable our attendees to get a first-hand experience of German environmental technology.

EUR 3130: Covers tuition fees for the the summer course Wind Energy, Solar Power & Biogas Plants, course materials, documentation, site tours, accommodation with breakfast, lunch and dinner, transportation Kassel/Bad Hersfeld and Bad Hersfeld/Kassel.
