The European Convention of Human Rights: mechanism of protection and rights of migrants -from Monday afternoon 10 January 2011 to Friday afternoon 14 January 2011 included - Convention europeenne des droits de l’homme: mecanisme de protection et droits des etrangers -apres-midi10 Janvier 2011 a vendredi apres-midi 14 Janvier 2011 inclus.

The course aims to focus on two topics: The functioning mechanism of the European Convention of Human Rights (submission of an application, conditions of admissibility, Court’s evaluation, judgments’ effects, surveillance mechanism on judgments’ implementation); The role of the ECtHR on the protection of migrants and of people without a nationality (arts. 2, 3, 8 ECHR). The detailed programme will be available on the site of the faculty from September 2010.

Priority will be given to students and practitioners
Alternatively : A first level degree/ a degree attesting a study programme of at least 3 years/ CV certifying a specific background on human rights
Listening ability in French and English
