Along with the discourse on post-digital print, the role of both the library / archive and the book is about to change once more. Ideas of books as archives and archives as books constantly merge and shift. How can artistic and design practice react to this and how can libraries and archives be used as tools and as content material for print design? The intention of the workshop is to exclusively use the Berlin University of the Arts' library as a post-digital machine. The workshop results for every participant in the actual designing %E2%80" compiling, collaging, sampling %E2%80" of a paper zine which comprises of related content material exclusively available on site with the technical means given (databases, photocopiers, scanners, printers etc.).#book-as-exhibition #post-archival #imaginary library #self-publishing #book art
