Analiza comparativa a calitatii marfurilorI. Prezentare generala a placilor de bazaPlacile de baza sunt marfuri electronice si fac parte integranta a unui calculator, care este dealtfel si cea mai importanta piesda dintr-un system. Ea este piesa principala a unui computer si din faptul ca permite extensia sau upgrade-ul calculatorului. Placile de baza (mainboards, motherboards) au o mare varietate sortimentala datorita folosirii lor la scara larga, in functie de destinatia finala a sistemului de calcul, dar si din cauza necesitatii tot mai mari a computerelor in activitatile de la servici si acasa. Placile de baza au fost si sunt parte integranta a computerelor pentru mai bine de 20 de ani. Placa de baza ne-o putem inagina ca un oras futuristic cu multe cladiri modulare, fiecare folosind o energie comuna. Multiple autostrazi variate cu mai multe benzi care transporta date intre cladiri. Placa de baza este puterea si resursa principala a infrastructurii intregului calculator. Placile de baza (maindoard sau motherboard) au transportat arhitectura de-a lungul anilor. Designul ei a fost lansat in premiera in anul 1982 de catre IBM. O placa de baza este alcatuita in mare parte din urmatoarele componente: soclul pentru microprocesr (slot sau socket), BIOS-ul, extensiile de socluri pentru memorie RAM si o colectie de sloturi in care se pot monta carduri auxiliare ISA, PCI, AGP, AMR, ACR, etc. In industria IT sunt prezente la ora actuala o varietate de placi de baza produse de diferiti producatori si de forme diferite, caracteristice pentru fiecare tip de calculator in parte. Clasificare acaracteristicilor de calitate Clasificare acaracteristicilor de calitate se poate face dupa mai multe criterii:-Dupa natura caracteristicilor sau dupa aportul pe care il au proprietatile la serviciile ce le indeplinesc in timpul utilizarii la consummator-Dupa ponderea pe care o au in stabilirea calitatii-Dupa sensul in care valoarea acestora determina nivelul calitatiiPrezentarea sortimentelor de placi de bazaOdata cu dezvoltarea industriei informatice, piata acestui produs a cunoscut o dezvoltare exploziva, pe piata existand o mare varietate de firme si modele ce ofera solutii variate atat in utilizarile personale (PC), in domeniul profesional, cel de firma (calculatoare de birou, baze de date, etc) cat si in stadiile avansate, la care sunt necesare varfurile de gama din ultimele tehnologii din domeniu (servere cu destinatii diverse, statiile de prelurari meteorologice, statii pentru procesari cu diverse simulari la scara globala, etc.) Criteriul de selectie pentru aceasta analiza a fost tipul chipset-ului principal din alcatuirea placii de baza NorthBridge si anume nVidia nForce2 Ultra400. Produsele alese in vederea realizarii analizei comparative apartin firmelor: MSI, Gigabyte, ABIT, Albatron, Leadtek.Prezentarea firmelor concurente:MSI A fost fondata in anul 1986 si a continuat sa sustina filosofia afacerilor care streseaza Produsele de calitate Award si un service pt clienti remarcabil. MSI exceleaza prin design si prin producerea placilor de baza, a cardurilor add-on, serverelor, unitatile de stocare optice, a echipamentelor de comunicare si a accesoriilor. Surclasand concurenta pe acest sector de piata, MSI se afla printre primele trei din Taiwan si in primele cinci din lume, alaturi de cardurile video care au reusit performanta de a fi pe primul loc din lume mai bine de 2 ani. In ultimii ani, MSI si-a extins ponderea si in China pentru a face fata cerintelor globale.Gigabyte Eforturile depuse pentru a aduce inovatii in industria IT, i-au oderit companiei companiei Giga-Byte Technology o recunoastere mondiala si succes ce a depasit orice asteptari. Facand progrese constante in domeniul placilor de baza si fiind o marca recunoscuta pe plan mondial, Giga-Byte Technology tinde sa devina cel mai bun jucator pe piata IT din intreaga lume.BIT Odata cu intrarea in secolul XXI, Compania ABIT isi propune sa ofere produse, servicii si consultanta la un nivel chiar mai inalt decat inainte. Inainte de a scoate pe piata un produs nou respectiv o placa de baza se testeaza o peroada mai indelungata pentru a fi siguri si a garanta de calitatea si performantele produsului care urmeaza a fi comercializat la scara larga. Inginerii companiei au pus accent mai mult pe interferentele electromagnetice, termice, acustice si mici detalii care se trec deseori cu vederea pentru a atinge un prag de satisfacere maxima a clientului. Notebook-urile LEADTEK au fost primele din lume certificate dupa standardul TCO99 care au constat in emisia scazuta de radiatii, consumul de baterie, ecologic si ergonomic.
