Unfortunately, i didn’t have time to finish reading the Koran yet. It’s an interesting and very useful reading though. From what i read, i won’t try to judge it from the point of view of a Christian, but from the point of view of a neutral analyst and a person dedicated to the discovery of the mysteries, a man that loves science.
First of all, in some parts of it, the Koran is trying to demonstrate that even if it was issued around the year 600, it is in accordance with modern science. Even the imams are trying to demonstrate that. For example, they say that the meat prepared according to their traditions is healthier than the meat prepared by christian butchers. I can not disagree more. There is nothing better with the meat if the animal is killed with the head to Mecca or with the head opposite to Mecca. It’s just a superstition…but if we believe in superstitions, they might happen.
Second, they do not tolerate us, the „pagan” people. We christians are very indulgent to them. If they want to enter in a church wearing a haik or a turban, nobody forbids them. Nobody forbids them from practicing their rituals when they eat or socialize. But if we go there, they wouldn’t let us enter in a mosque in normal clothes. If there is an international meeting, in Europe for example , between muslims and christians talking politics or science, muslims will always try to stress that alcohol should not be present on the table, even if they won’t drink a drop. Just the presence of it makes them nervous. They believe they are superior.
