Admission criteria
General entry requirements for undergraduate applicants from Romania
Diploma de Bacalaureat with an average grade of:
6.0 or above = HND entry
7.5 or above = 260 points
8.0 or above = 280 points or higher
(Maths grade of 5 or above is equivalent to at least GCSE grade C when achieved in the above qualification or the Certificat de Absolvire a Licelui or the Diploma/Certificate de Absolvire a Invatamantului Obligatoriu de 10 ani)
English language requirements: IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 80 (iBT) or PTE Academic 56 or Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English

Bachelor degree with a minimum of 60% pass mark

High Achievers Scholarship ‘Rewarding academic excellence’
Up to £2000 per year
Undergraduate 'Home' and EU applicants for Year 1 of a 3 year BA or BSc programme, paying £9000 tuition fees in 2014/15, will be automatically entered and assessed for this scholarship if they achieve GPA of 9.0 or higher in Diploma de Bacalaureat and have made The University of Northampton their conditional firm or unconditional firm choice via UCAS. The University of Northampton Bursary
Up to £1000 per year
